ARTIST’S STATEMENT

Though clay constantly reminds me of the value of rhythm and commitment in ones life and work, taking time for playful experimentation is often what is most fulfilling. My most inventive solutions to the challenges of working with clay tends to evolve either out of taking a risk, or acting on an intuitive hunch, without much expectation regarding the outcome. The muse becomes that elusive and unexpected glimpse into a world of surprising possibilities.
